Commemorative Signs

Recognize a friend or loved one on the spectrum! $100 will honor your loved one on a commemorative sign. The sign can include photos and words of encouragement for them or a special message about them from you. All signs will have the ASA-NV & Walk for Autism logos and the date of the walk. Runner

Pre-registered runners pay a $25 registration fee. Runners that register on the day of the event pay a $30 registration fee. All runners receive a free t-shirt. Runners will be timed and receive trophies for 1st and 2nd place in the following categories: girls ages 10 - 14, boys ages 10 - 14, girls ages 15-19, boys ages 15-19, women ages 20 - 29, men ages 20 - 29, women ages 30 - 39, men ages 30 - 39, women ages 40 - 49, men ages 40 - 49, women ages 50 - 59, men ages 50 - 59, women age 60+, men age 60+. The 5K run begins at 9:30 am.

As a runner, you are not required, but are encouraged to raise money for the Walk for Autism – Virginia. After you register, you can visit Firstgiving.org where you will find free online tools to help you raise money to support the Walk for Autism – Virginia which provides mini-grants for autism treatments. Through FirstGiving, you can create messages to send to your family and friends and track your progress. You will create an initial thank you note, and once you receive a donation, the site will automatically send the donor a thank you email.
