Commemorative Signs

Recognize a friend or loved one on the spectrum! $100 will honor your loved one on a commemorative sign. The sign can include photos and words of encouragement for them or a special message about them from you. All signs will have the ASA-NV & Walk for Autism logos and the date of the walk. Silent Auction

The silent auction at the Walk for Autism – Virginia is another great way to donate to the cause. Many area businesses donate items or gift certificates, and we are grateful for the wonderful array of local business support. Beginning bids at the auction are half the original price, so participants can get some terrific deals. All of the proceeds go directly towards the mini-grants covering autism treatment, which are awarded to local families.

Some of the prominent items auctioned off at last year’s Walk included, tickets to a well-known amusement park and an overnight package at a local resort. Last year’s terrific gift certificates were from local gyms, spas, golf clubs, recreational organizations and restaurants. Professional sports teams in our area also participated by donating autographed pictures and sports memorabilia. The auction even included handmade quilts and blankets. Our silent auction is a great way to support autism awareness and go home with some great items for you or loved ones!
